Anime Boston

It seems that I've gone on a small hiatus right around the time of Anime Boston. I've just been really busy once again, so sorry If I haven't posted anything. Also, I had toooo much in fun in AB so I only took a small amount of pictures to show you TT__TT ... However ; one of the girls I went with took a load of pictures that she STILL hasn't uploaded yet but I'll try to get them all posted by the weekend along with other things I have to show you! Which is quite a bit. Also, this weekend is going to be a cosplay sleepover! So I will update you on how that went as well as photos! So until the weekend ~

Another Wig Review, Yesstyle!

So let me start off by saying YES I did this review and my Lockshop review in the same day if your wondering what's up with me wearing the same outfit! O_O haha.. I received my Lockshop wig the day before but decided to do when I ended up receiving my Yesstyle wig the following day (*^▽^*) !! So lets just say I could not be more satisfied! I have wanted to order this from Gabalmania for so long but since Yesstyle had it... ( and its not exactly CHEAP ) I waited a little while and wooohooo! Here it is :

 Um... I completely tore it out of the box after having such a hard time!

 Anywho, I received it through FEDEX ..

 The wig looks very natural and has the effect of roots growing in!

It's such a pretty golden blonde color *__*

The hair reminds me of Beach Hair. I would totally wear this over the summer ( even though I'm not sure how much I'm going to be wearing wigs in such heat! ) but this is definitely summer hair, pretty blonde and a really nice beach wave. The fibers are nice and soft as well ; However, the bangs seemed a little ruff? I just assume I can't put ANY heat to the bangs after having a good feel of them while I cut them the suit my face.

I always get a little.... photo happy when I reeeeeeaaally like something! hahaha

However, I love this wig and I can't wait to wear it this weekend to ANIME BOSTON! be prepared for a numerous amount of photos! Also a human panda! hehe .. okay so maybe I exaggerate the human panda thing but I will be in my super cute Kigurumi! and if you don't know what that it, it's basically a really cute animal pajama. Overall, it's an awesome wig, beautiful color, length and fiber. Only downfall is maybe the price is a bit much. I could buy two wigs with the price of this ONE wig so ... I guess that's the one thing I don't like but other then that it's natural looking, snug fitting and If you like the brand Gabalmania, Yesstyle sells quite a few of their wigs so check them out below!

My first Lockshop wig!

My first wig from the Netherlands! Haha! and I got to me within 2 weeks :D! ... I honestly didn't think the wig was in the box when I received it in through Mailbox shipping. I looked at the box and it was incredibly thin. I looked at it a few times more before opening it, but everything was neatly packaged and the reason the wig fit so compact was because It didn't come with the normal wig stuffing stuffs haha ( that paper they stuff the wigs with, carboard etc.) but here is how it came to me! :

 The box was so flat O_o

 But look how neatly it was kept -^_^-

It doesn't look that full at a first glance, but In all actually it is quite FULL.

The wig has a small curl to it at the end. Its very full when you bunch all the hair together, I attempted to put it in a ponytail and felt the thickness of the hair. In comparison to Gothic Lolita Wigs, it is ALMOST as thick as their wigs however GLW will remain my favorite wig website hehe. But overall, for my first purchase with LockShop wigs, I am very pleased!

Customer service was also very helpful and super polite!

I can't really find any negatives about the wig, the black is NOT super shiny as opposed to other black wigs that I own ( I noticed after a while my Pinkage wig had a slight un-natural shine to it in the beginning but dulled down the more I wore it) The shine is very little so the wig has a very natural look to it. I've heard that LockShop wigs looked more natural in comparison to GLW but my favoritism still stands with GLW! ( can you have a bias with wig manufacturers? hahahah ) anyway! I will definitely purchase from them again! Their wigs are not that expensive I spent 50$ tops! If you would like to order from them click the link below!

1 more week Anime Boston, 3 more weeks, Sakura Matsuri!

I am SUPER excited! It seems like I'm going to have a fun-filled month. April is definitely going to be MY MONTH! Woooo! Hopefully this is also the month that I find a much better day job seeing that I only have a NIGHT job now! T_T *wahhhh* but I guess it will pay off the events to come. Also, I joined a GAL FORUM TODAY! I always wanted to join one but never did? So hopefully I make some cool new friends and... I'm also hoping that maybe ... just possibly ... if I could just have ONE maybe ONE ( or more hehe ) awesome friend who Is into the stuff that I'm into! ( My sister and her friends don't count, their all five years younger than me and just ... no! ) If I could possibly meet some Boston Gals at the convention or even outside of it would be nice.

Rhode Island is sooooooooo .. boring.

Everyone looks the same and the only ones that stand out are the cool people. Who I might or might not know but it doesn't mean those cool people like what I like just because they stick out in this small, boring, state.. It's just sooo dreadful! Theres nothing FUN! and the people that I hang around, as much as I love them. They don't do anything spectacular ... which brings me over to the fact that I CANNOT, absolutely CANNOT wait to go to J A P A N NEXT YEAR. 2013! Is going to rock! (If the world doesn't sadly end before my journey) T_T *double wahhh* seeing that our economy sucks, global warming, and poop. It's just poop =__=

I'm just looking forward to the events coming forth. I need to keep going to cool things like

conventions and stuff to get away from this place that seems the be gray/black/white without a splash of color! It's horrible ..hahahaha I sound so depressed -_-x ..

Anyway's I will be posting ton's of photos! I went on a kawaii online spreee of stuff that I would like to purchase! ... I just need the money for it! But those purchases will be made slowlyyy O_o ... So I can do a baby haul ^_^ and I'm sure theres going to be a TON of cute things that I'm going to drool over at anime boston ~_~ aishh.. I hope their not too expensive! Well, that'll be all for today! Bye Bye!

Classic Wavy Light Blonde from GLW

I just couldn't wait to try one of their classics... So originally I was going to wait for the Classic Dark Chocolate Wavy wig to come back in stock, but I just didn't have the patience after watching a couple videos on the wig and how pretty it was. I just had to order it! ( call me a wig junkee but I love them! ) and Gothic Lolita wigs just has thee prettiest wigs, so here is how it came to me packaged :

 This time it came with a wig cap and a card with Rock star wigs and Gothic lolita printed in back of it :

 As always, the wig comes incredibly THICK, the way I love them!

 Also, very little shine, super NATURAL looking.

 It's also a good length, pretty long and manageable.

The only D O W N F A L L ( for me, in my opinion ) Is that It comes with side swept bangs. I'm a straight Fringe kind of girl. I really don't like the side swept bangs at all and because they are side swept the bangs are NOT as THICK in comparison to their wigs with a straight fringe. Which was a MINOR disappointment because I love THICK bangs and It took a bit more time to cut and curl them to my liking so that I could make the perfect straight Fringe, but overall the wig is a very good wig!

Overall the wig looked pretty nice and after wide tooth combing it and a bit of brushing... this thing was incredibly fluffy O_O but I don't mind it at all ^_^ !
